Power of the Elements

Living in harmony
with Nature

“The Five Elemental energies of Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water encompass all the myriad phenomena of Nature. It is a paradigm that applies equally to Nature and humans.”

— The Yellow Emperor's Classic of Internal Medicine

In today's hectic world, we are becoming increasingly disconnected from ourselves, our true state of being and the natural world around us.

We believe that this separation is the root cause of most of today's mental and physical health issues as well as the environmental challenges we face on a planetary level.

The Five Elements is the map back — a paradigm from Classical Chinese Medicine that mirrors the human being in the seasons of Nature. Each element governs an organ pair, an emotion, a sound, a taste, and a stage of life. By understanding the Elements within us, we get the tools to live in harmony with ourselves and with Nature.

Chinese Medicine is primarily based on Taoist Philosophy and is the oldest and most detailed medical system in the world. Through our trainings we explore its main concepts:

  • Yin & Yang — the two interchangeable forces of the universe; their balance is what keeps dis-ease from occurring.
  • Qi — also known as Energy, Prana or Life Force; it should flow freely for the body to enjoy optimal health.
  • Meridians — 12 main energy pathways and 8 extra meridians connecting our internal organs; stimulated through acupressure, acupuncture and yin postures.
  • The 5 Elements — with their corresponding organs, emotions, virtues, personality traits and seasons of life.
  • Medical Qi Gong — an internal energy practice that focuses on health and longevity.
  • Classical Feng Shui — incorporating the 5 Elements, movements, fluctuations, associations and directions of Qi to make your home your sanctuary.
  • Face Reading — the Daoist art form of deciphering strengths and weaknesses through facial features.

“If we can decipher the meaning of the Elements within us, we get the tools to live in harmony with ourselves and the Nature that surrounds us. Discovering our True Nature is the greatest gift we can give to ourselves.”
